At
the first appointment Moira will go through a consultation form with you that
focuses on your general health, medical history and the condition or problem
that you wish to receive help with. This
is necessary because it helps to build a picture of the various factors that
may be contributing to or involved in the condition that is causing you
concern. It is also to ensure that the
professional treatment and advice you receive are appropriate and tailored to
your needs. All of this information and
your treatment records will be kept securely and treated in the strictest
confidence.
At
all times you are assured of complete confidentiality and privacy. Every attention will be paid to your comfort
and well-being.
Treatment
times vary depending on the type of treatment required or therapy
requested. As a guide, the usual full
appointment is for one hour (one and a quarter hours
for the first to provide sufficient time for the initial consultation); for
some treatments, e.g. Indian Head Massage, the appointment will be half an
hour.
Appointments
will usually be held at the clinic.
However in certain circumstances, and by prior arrangement, Moira will
make a home visit. A small additional
fee may be requested to cover travel costs.
Please note that you are kindly requested to give at least 24 hours
notice of cancellation of an appointment, otherwise a charge will be incurred.
